UAE Will Now Grant "CITIZENSHIP" To Investors And Professionals, According To New Amendment In Law

  The United Arab Emirates (UAE) reported it is opening a way to citizenship for certain foreigners, however it is indistinct if new visa holders will profit by this framework.  Dubai ruler and UAE Prime Minister Sheik Mohammed Rashed Al Maktoum on Saturday said "investors, professionals and experts including scientists, doctors, engineers, craftsmen, inventors and their families" would be qualified for naturalization under the new amendment to the citizenship law.  "The UAE bureau, nearby emiri courts and chief boards will name those qualified for the citizenship under clear measures set for every class," he said. Contempt of Parliament by Executives, Minister Refused to Disclose Troops Deployment Location


On Monday Defence Minister appeared in Senate to present policy statement regarding troops deployment in KSA. But Minister Khurram Dastagir bluntly refused to tell deployment location in Saudi Arabia, even in in camera session as well.

Few days ago official statement from ISPR were released in which they said the contingent of about 1000 soldiers will be dispatch in Saudi Arabia, according to 1982 security protocol between Pakistan and KSA contingent of 1600 soldiers is already dispatched in KSA. The statement were released just after signed by PM. 
Khurram Dastagir said that he and PM was on board when the decision was being made. But due to national security we can’t disclose the exact location of the soldiers. Chairman senate offered an in-session as he observed that information couldn’t withheld from Parliament but Minister’ still refused to disclose the information by saying that it’s sensitive for national security. But our troops will be located in the geographical boundaries of KSA. In the response Chairman senate said “Don’t give us lollipop. “

Minister said our troops will train KSA army for mountain warfare and counterterrorism as it wasn’t the case when protocol was signed in 1982. The decision is made with consent of both military and civil leadership. Chairman Senate said “if you and PM were part of decision than both of you falls under contempt of Parliament and don’t. You don’t think Parliament should be taken under confidence before making such sensitive decisions and had so many months to do so. As you were aware of decision and parcel of exercise”.

Chairman also said that “Don’t let us talk about supremacy of Parliament, executives are rubbing the nose of Parliament into sand”.
