UAE Will Now Grant "CITIZENSHIP" To Investors And Professionals, According To New Amendment In Law

  The United Arab Emirates (UAE) reported it is opening a way to citizenship for certain foreigners, however it is indistinct if new visa holders will profit by this framework.  Dubai ruler and UAE Prime Minister Sheik Mohammed Rashed Al Maktoum on Saturday said "investors, professionals and experts including scientists, doctors, engineers, craftsmen, inventors and their families" would be qualified for naturalization under the new amendment to the citizenship law.  "The UAE bureau, nearby emiri courts and chief boards will name those qualified for the citizenship under clear measures set for every class," he said. PM Imran Khan Visited GHQ: "Civil Military Collaboration seems to be Retreated"

Newly elected PM Imran Khan have visited GHQ, where he was the first PM to lead the meeting and was also briefed regarding interal and external security threats. PM was accompanied by Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Minister for Communication Fawad Choudary and other ministers from his cabinet. During PM's first visit the expressions and attitude of Millitary Generals were quite different in comparison with during meeting with previous civil supreme leaderships, with all that Generals were also wearing official caps and saluted PM during introduction that usually not happened with PM Nawaz. The sitting order of civil military leadership was also eye catching, as PM was solemnly leading the meeting contrary to the PM Nawaz's first meeting where COAS of that time General Raheel was sitting next to PM.
